Privacy Policy

This guide collects almost nothing about you: no account, no login, and no field on any page asks for your name or your email address. What it does track is limited to anonymous analytics events, covered in full below.

What We Gather

The only thing this site tracks is anonymous usage data through Google Analytics: which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, with no account, no login and no newsletter list attached to it. Nothing on this site asks you to type a name, an email address or any other personal detail, because no page here needs one.

How Your Data Is Handled

One cookie records which booking listing you clicked, so the operator can credit the referral; beyond that, this site's part in the transaction ends at the click. Tap through from a whale-watching card in Los Cristianos, for example, and you land on the operator's own booking page, where its privacy policy takes over. Your card number, your booking confirmation and your email address are handled there, never here, and none of it is ever visible to this site.

The Live Data Block

The block called "Tenerife Right Now" shows summit and south-coast conditions drawn from public feeds. It is served through this site's own worker at /api/tenerife-now, which reads public station data from AEMET, Spain's national weather agency, and caches it at the edge. Your browser never talks to AEMET, and no visitor identifier of any kind reaches it. The figures are credited on the page as "Fuente: AEMET". The monthly arrivals series behind the same block comes from ISTAC, the Canary Islands statistics institute, and the same rule holds there: the publisher is named, the data is public, and neither source is given anything about you. Nothing in the block is tied to your visit, stored against you, or used to profile the pages you read.

Your Choices

Your browser gives you the final say. You can block cookies and analytics in your browser settings, and private browsing windows limit what is stored on your device. We do not respond to do-not-track signals because no standard requires it, and we say so plainly. If you block analytics, the site keeps working: every guide, tour comparison and booking link functions exactly the same, and nothing you need to plan a Tenerife trip is held back.
